What a year it has been here at Baked to Taste! We’re bursting with pride and joy to share that our gluten-free creations have dazzled the taste buds of the judges at the Taste Of The West Awards show 2024 and we have taken home an amazing array of awards. Drumroll, please, as we unveil the stars of our show:
Let's start off with the top winners! The best we have to offer – well that’s what the judges think at least (we think they are all worthy of gold! 🥇).
Our Golden Glories:
The Homity Pie - A true comfort classic, our Homity Pie won the prestigious Gold. One bite and you'll know why – creamy potatoes, tangy cheese, and the perfect crust.
The Venison Pie - Rich, robust, and absolutely irresistible, this pie is a wild winner with its savoury filling and golden pastry. You’ll have to wait for Christmas for this one!
The Sausage Roll - Our perfect sausage roll is bursting with flavour and is wrapped in a perfectly crisp pastry, and you guessed it, it snagged the Gold!
The Caramelised Red Onion & Goat's Cheese Quiche - The sweet tang of caramelised onions paired with creamy goat's cheese in our fabulous gluten-free crust earned this quiche its golden crown.
Oh yes they keep going!
The Roasted Red Pepper and Pesto Quiche - A harmony of roasted red peppers and vibrant pesto, this quiche is a testament to our obsession with flavour and quality.
And finally, the sweet treat to round things off!
The Chocolate Fudge Cake - Decadent, rich, and oh-so-chocolatey, this cake truly deserves its gold medal! It’s a masterpiece that satisfies every sweet tooth.
Our Silver Sensations:
The Mushroom Stroganott Pie—Earthy mushrooms in a creamy sauce encased in our delectable pastry earned it a silver star! It’s suitable for vegans and a mushroom treat for anyone.
The Turkey, Ham, Brie & Cranberry Pie - A festive favourite that combines savoury and sweet in a delightful dance, earning it a silver medal! This seasonal pie is another one that only comes round once a year!
The Carrot Cake - Moist, spiced, and topped with dreamy cream cheese frosting, this classic treat made it to the silver podium.
And last but not least our Commendable Creations:
The Spinach and Squash Roll (Vegan) - A hearty, wholesome roll that’s as good for the soul as it is for the planet. Our vegan delight received a commendation for its deliciousness.
