How We Made our New Pies!

 Behind the Bakes 🧑‍🍳 Chicken, Mushroom & Tarragon and Steak & Kidney Pies!

So, you’ve met the new kids on the block, right? 🥧✨

Our Gluten Free Steak & Kidney Pie and the Dairy, Garlic, Onion & Gluten Free Chicken, Mushroom & Tarragon Pie have taken our GF menu by storm, and they’re here to prove they’re not just pie - they’re experiences!

But how exactly did these beauties come to life? Let’s dive into the delicious chaos of our kitchens!! 🔥

Chicken, Mushroom & Tarragon: Creamy, Dreamy and Proper Delicious! 🍄

This one’s a game-changer. Dairy-free, garlic-free, onion-free, gluten-free… and still packed with indulgent flavour? Oh yes.

1️⃣ Seasoning Magic 🌟

It all starts with a medley of tarragon, salt, and a range of seasoning that make this pie sing. 

Without these bad boys, our guarantee of a pie-fect flavour without dairy, onion or garlic wouldn't blow your socks off like it does!

2️⃣ Mushroom Mania 🍄

Our fresh mushrooms get a quick rinse (got to keep things squeaky clean!) before heading to the brat pan for a good sauté.

Once perfectly cooked, they’re scooped out and set aside for later...

3️⃣ Chicken Time 🐓

You can't have Chicken, Mushroom & Tarragon pie without the chicken!! 

Tender and juicy, it cooks up beautifully in the brat pan while we prep the creamy, dreamy gravy 😋

4️⃣ Non-Dairy Wizardry ✨

What’s the secret to a rich, dairy-free gravy? Cashews and oat milk of course! Together, they make the ideal creamy sauce with none of the lactose.

Blended to velvety perfection, this gravy is proof that you don’t need dairy to make something totally indulgent.

5️⃣ Mix It Up 🥄

The mushrooms, chicken, seasoning, and gravy come together in a glorious symphony of flavours!!

After cooling down, it’s scooped into our gluten free pastry, topped with a lid, and baked until golden brown!

This pie isn’t just inclusive - it’s irresistible!! 🌍

Steak & Kidney: A Tale of Two Awesome Ingredients 🥩


Every masterpiece starts with a solid foundation, and for our Steak & Kidney Pie, that means steak - LOTS of it. 👀

1️⃣ Into the Brat Pan We Go!

First up, our steak hits the brat pan for a quick sizzle!

Juicy, tender, and seasoned just right, it’s cooked to perfection before being scooped out for its next act!!

2️⃣ Kidney’s Grand Entrance 💃

Now it’s the kidneys’ turn! They join the party with chunks of potato and a seasoning blend that’s as bold as it is tasty 😋

 The kidneys cook away, soaking up all the rich flavours while keeping things gloriously gluten-free.

3️⃣ The Reunion 🥰

Once the kidneys are ready, we bring back the steak for a glorious reunion! 

This iconic combination of ingredients is then mixed thoroughly to make sure every bite gets you that perfect blend of taste!!

4️⃣ Pastry Heaven 😇

Finally, this luscious filling is cooled, scooped, and nestled into our golden shortcrust pastry. After baking to a flaky finish, it’s ready to be devoured!!

The result? A pie so hearty, it practically gives you a hug with every bite 🤗
