A Breakdown Of Our Award-Winning Year!

Our Biggest Year Yet: 2025 Award Round-Up 🏆✨

2025 was the year we ran out of wall space!!
A year of polishing medals, adding new plaques, and asking ourselves, “Should we build a second award shelf… or just accept that pastry greatness takes up room?”

It’s been our most successful year ever, and we’re feeling pretty chuffed, not just because of the wins, but because of what they represent: flavour-first, proudly gluten free baking that can hold its own in any room, alongside any competitor.

🥧 British Pie Awards - A Fiery Start

We kicked off the year with a bang at the British Pie Awards, where we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with pie royalty.


Our Ruby Murray Pasty and Steak Pasty impressed the judges, proving once again that gluten free pastry can absolutely deliver the goods.
Nothing quite like watching people take their first bite of our GF pasties!

✨ Taste of the West & Great Taste - The Gold Rush

Summer rolled in and suddenly we were swimming in Golds. Our pasties, pies and cakes picked up top spots across Taste of the West and the Great Taste Awards, two of the biggest food recognitions in the country.

While our Ruby Murray struck gold once again at the GTAs, this whopping list of GF bakes dominated the Taste of the West...

From spiced curry pasties to rich fruit cakes and classic steak pies, our range showed off just how much flavour you can pack into gluten free!!!

🌿 Food Drink Devon - A Night to Remember

One of our absolute highlights of 2025 was attending the Food Drink Devon Awards ceremony in a room buzzing with local makers we admire!

We were honoured (and a bit emotional, honestly) to see SEVEN of our most-loved bakes, from our Steak Pasty to our Sticky Jamaican Ginger Cake, receive shiny green medals!

There’s nothing quite like being celebrated at home, by people who really know their food.

🎄 Free From Christmas Awards - A Festive Finish

Just when we thought the year couldn’t get any sweeter, our Christmas range swept up wins at the Free From Christmas Awards!!

This included a Gold for our Turkey, Ham & Cranberry Pasty and our Venison & Port Pie (which also scooped up Champion Free From Product at the 2024 Taste of the West Awards!)

A brilliant finish to a year where our little GF kitchen stood tall on the national stage.

What These Awards Mean to Us ❤️

Awards aren’t just stickers for us... they’re recognition of the graft, the testing, the tweaking, those very early mornings!

They’re proof that:

  • Gluten free can be gourmet

  • Great pastry belongs to everyone

  • Our tiny Devon bakery has one hell of a voice in the national food scene
